Please request your location, day and time by clicking on the “Book Your Session” button or via email at info@northernlightsfoto.com or give us a call at 586-773-3353. We will confirm availability and reserve your request. The sitting fee is required when the appointment is made. If there is no availability for your day and time, we will go over other options so that you can choose something that is most convenient for you.

Note: If you are more than 20 minutes late for your session, you will be considered a no-show and the sitting fee will not be refunded.

Your 30 minute session is plenty of time for one person doing multiple outfits and moving to different spots in the location. We will bring a portable dressing room for your convenience.

Two or three consecutive sessions are good for larger groups that want to take individual shots as well. Or large family groups that want to break down into smaller family units.

Wear seasonal appropriate clothing unless you are going for a special look. Bring your fun props, like wigs, sunglasses, smoke bombs, musical instruments and blankets for sitting on the ground. We do not provide hair and makeup – so come camera ready or bring someone to help with that.

Working with pets is our specialty. We will bring treats, toys and maybe a few props. You can also bring their favorite toy and some drinking water. For locations that require leashes, or if you feel more comfortable with your pet on a leash -no problem – we can remove the leashes in PhotoShop.
